Dear Hillside friends,

Hasn’t it been an incredible fall season in the Believe series? There’s been lots of positive buzz about it and people are really growing in their faith. Exciting! If you’ve missed any of the Believe messages, including Pastor Dave’s awesome message last Sunday on “Stewardship”, be sure to check out the sermon link below.

Believe sermons

This week is our final message in the fall series and we’ll be focusing on a hugely significant topic that is of great interest in our culture today: it’s the topic of heaven. Have you thought about heaven lately? You should, because it’s real and there’s a reason God has set eternity in our hearts.

Join us for what’s shaping up to be a powerful Sunday with engaging worship, communion, and a message on heaven. Friends, I can’t wait to share about the hope of heaven with you and also know that this would be a great Sunday to invite your friends as we explore this vital subject together.

Parents, don’t miss the opportunity to make a spiritual deposit in the lives of your kids this Sunday by making sure they experience one of our amazing Sunday morning programs this week. By the way, did you know that last Sunday morning we had our largest Sunday ever for our Next Gen programs with 258 kids and youth attending? Now how neat is that!  (Plus it was also our record 10th 800+ Sunday in this our Grand Opening year; God is working and that’s why we made room for more).

I must say that it was a personal joy for me to tour all our Next Gen programs during the 11am service last week. The quality of care and learning going on in all of these 5 venues including WaumbaLand, PreK, KidZone, The Launch, and  the Vibe was truly impressive. Wow, the bottom line is that we are truly blessed! Every week is special in each of these programs and this week, in KidZone and The Launch, it’s extra special because it’s their exciting “Emoji Sunday”. This is a Super Sunday planned by Laura Harris and her dedicated team with games, prizes, food, and a super learning opportunity for the kids. And, it’s also another reason why you don’t want your children to miss!

Finally, a word to our newcomers… Why don’t you plan to attend “Getting Started” hosted by Pastor Dave at 9am, then join us for the 11am service? Getting Started includes a brief intro to our church as well as a tour of our facilities. Interested? You can sign up now. Getting Started

Hope to see you Sunday.

Expectantly,

Pastor Jerry

PS Have you brought in your Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes yet? This Sunday is the deadline, so don’t forget.
