Dear Church Family,

Our team continues to hear lots of encouraging feedback from our new family series. As a church with a premier family ministry in the region, our desire is to intentionally partner with parents and be a practical encouragement to you. The topics in our spring series are not only relevant for families, they are actually helpful to everyone (replenishment, sexuality, grief, etc) and this is certainly true with this Sunday’s message on forgiveness.

As Christ followers, we know that no one is perfect. This means there are no perfect marriages, no perfect parents, and certainly no perfect families. But why is it that we often hurt those we love the most? The good news is that forgiveness is possible, but it’s not always easy. I’m looking forward to sharing some fresh biblical insights exposing the myths and clarifying the steps toward genuine forgiveness. I believe it’s going to be a transformational day for many as they gain freedom from their anger, bitterness, hurt, and resentment.

Friends, looking ahead there are several exciting opportunities for you to connect, grow, serve and be “All In” in the weeks ahead. This includes:

·    Getting Started class for newcomers this Sunday at 9am hosted by Pastor Dave (includes an introduction of our church and a tour of our facilities) – have you signed up yet? You can right now! Simply click here!

·   Hillside’s Got Talent on June 12th, 5pm (limited seating available, so get your tickets in the lobby on Sunday)

In addition, I know many of you have a growing interest in taking the next step of believer’s baptism, church membership, or both, this spring. That’s awesome!!! For your convenience, I’ll soon be hosting two “All In” classes in the coming weeks (June 9th and June 16th) covering the topics of salvation, baptism, and spiritual growth, plus our church’s basic beliefs, vision, and membership expectations. Anyone interested in learning more about baptism and/or membership is warmly invited to attend. Please note that attending the class is a prerequisite for anyone interested in membership. Interested? You can attend either on Thursday night, June 9th, or Thursday night, June 16th, from 6:00-9:00pm. Also, be sure to “Save the Date” for our spring baptism celebration on June 26th.  Sign up here!

I continue to thank God for the joy of partnering with all of you in our shared ministry. Let’s remain faithful. Best days ahead!

See you Sunday,

Pastor Jerry
