Todd Petkau
Lead Pastor, Riverwood Church Community
Winnipeg, MB

A gifted communicator and innovative leader from western Canada, Todd is fired up about serving as our keynote speaker at Stronger 2019. For the past 23 years, he has been leading Riverwood (a church he and his wife planted in 1995) into becoming a thriving multi-site church in Winnipeg known for raising up passionate followers of Christ while also serving the practical needs of the hurting and marginalized in that city. Todd is looking forward to calling men to a stronger level of calling, hope, and influence as an unstoppable force for good in today’s world. In addition to his passion for ministry, Todd is also passionate about his marriage, family with three beautiful daughters, and watching God restore lives as only God can.

“Your family needs you to be stronger. Your boss would love it if you were stronger. God Himself is betting on you getting stronger. But if becoming stronger was easy, everyone would be doing it. It’s not! So, we’re going to dig a little deeper and push a little further. We’re going to go places most men will never venture in a quest to become stronger in a day.” Todd Petkau

faqs.
Is this only available for Hillside attenders?
No.  We would like as many Hillside men to attend as possible but we are also encouraging men from other Atlantic Canadian churches to come as well.  We will be actively partnering with other local Christian churches to invite men from their congregations.  However, we are expecting God to provide a sellout so please register ASAP to guarantee your spot.
How much does it cost and what is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee is $40 through February 3rd, 2019.  After that the fee goes up to $50.  The day includes guest speakers, worship music, a selection of two breakout sessions a la carte, a dinner style lunch, snacks and beverages.

Where is it taking place?
The conference is being hosted at Hillside Baptist in Moncton.  This venue is ideally suited for conferences and has repeatedly hosted The Global Leadership Summit, Believability and the Canadian Youth Workers Conference.  The church is located at 2290 Mountain Road in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely!  Just ensure that you register them online so that we can guarantee them a spot.
Do I need to select my two breakout sessions before February 9th?
No.  On the day of the event you will simply go to whichever sessions you are most interested in.
Can youth attend?
Yes.  The workshops are not typically geared towards teenagers but if you think your young adult male would benefit from the day then we would certainly welcome them.  Be sure to register them in advance to ensure we have room for them.
