Just a quick reminder to join us this Sunday as we welcome guest speaker Sid Koop… You don’t want to miss Sid’s engaging message entitled, “Transformational Families”. Friends, it’s not very often we get a national speaker with Sid’s level of expertise in youth and family ministries to be with us. So, again, you’ll want to be here.
It’s exciting to be a church with a premiere family ministry in the region. We’ve been blessed with a fantastic premiere family ministry team and an army of volunteers who truly care about you and your children. And thankfully, God is favoring this vision in some truly remarkable ways. Integral to this vision is that we love to partner with parents. That’s why this Sunday is important. It’s yet another very strategic way we’re seeking to come alongside parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, and mentors to encourage, equip, and pour into you.
In addition to Sid’s message, Sunday will be a wonderful service with worship led by our energetic Vibe Band. This is the student band that leads Vibe for students in Grades 6-12 every Sunday in the Youth Cafe. And it’s also our annual Remembrance Day service. This means we will be taking some time to pause, reflect, and remember the many blessings we enjoy in Canada. Whether it’s our national freedom or the spiritual freedom we enjoy in Christ, we have a great deal to celebrate. Can’t wait for Sunday!
Friends, that’s it for now. Be assured that it remains a great joy and privilege for me to serve as your pastor (even after 22 years). BTW: Several of us on the staff team toured the new auditorium this week. The roof is now installed and the building continues to take shape. Just imagine what’s in store as we look ahead to our grand opening year in 2016. Continued thanks for the sacrifices you are making as together we make room for more. Best days ahead!
