Dear Hillside Family,
Be sure to join us this Sunday as we continue in our “Rooted” series from the Book of Colossians. The band is fired up to take us through a taste of the 90s this week (should be fun and memorable!) and I’ll be bringing the third message in this our final series in our current auditorium. Together, we’ll discover that healthy spiritual growth happens best in an environment where people are “Rooted in Grace-Driven Community”.
Also, on Sunday, I’m told that parents of children in K-Grade 5 absolutely won’t want their kids to miss KidZone this week. It’s their monthly “Super Sunday” and it just so happens that it’s Valentine’s Day! The kids will be learning about loving and serving others (not just themselves) as well as enjoying fun games and snacks.
Friends, we’re truly blessed not just this Sunday, but on every Sunday (and through our weekly programs, too), that our premiere family ministry staff team and volunteers offer so many relevant and engaging learning opportunities for the Next Gen. Our vision is to partner with parents in being a positive spiritual influence upon the hearts and minds of children cradle through college.
By the way, speaking of community… Have you signed up yet for the All In “Dessert Gathering” next Sunday night (Feb. 21)? This special gathering will close out our really exciting “42nd” Anniversary Celebration at Hillside next week. Simply bring along your favorite dessert to share with others and be ready to hear some important and timely updates as we begin to transition into a new day with our Grand Opening. Again, this is a “can’t miss!” “you just gotta be there!” kind of event that takes place in our new auditorium. Here’s the link to sign up.
I trust you enjoy a wonderful weekend and hope you’re able to join us on Sunday. Best days ahead!
PS Have you put the word “Alpha”, “Youth Alpha”, or “Alpha Marriage” on your calendar yet for April? It all starts on Sunday night, April 3rd. Sign up begins this Sunday. Want to help out? Together, as servers, hosts, inviters, and attenders we can combine our efforts and make this an amazing outreach into our community.
